LRS is excited to become the Village of Sheffield’s new residential waste hauler, starting on May 2, 2022. We have a great appreciation for the high standards Sheffield residents have when it comes to service, quality and value. We look forward to exceeding those expectations. LRS is an Illinois based company with a local operation established nearby in Atkinson! Under the Village’s new contract with LRS, residents will see new service enhancements.
Public Works will start delivering waste carts during the last two weeks of April. These carts will be placed at curbside, and should not be used until the first week or May. All trash will now be collected every Friday.
